Sommerfest

Hello all! I have been MIA for awhile as I got to go on vacation by myself for 5 days to beautiful Mallorca, Spain so now it is back to reality and back to the kids ;) Today Matthew had a sommerfest party at school. They even put on a little performance and Matthew was such a good sport and participated. I had absolutely no idea about what was going on, but I was the proud momma in the first row with the camera right up in his face! By the looks of things, I don't think Matthew really had a clue either, but it was entertaining to watch. It is amazing to see how much a 3 year old can learn in such a short amount of time. We are very, very proud of Matthew as his German is really picking up. He can count, say his colors, and carry on a short conversation. When he talks he sometimes goes back and forth between German and English which gets a little confusing for me since he knows more than I do, but I love it!!

This is Matthew and his friend Marielle. She is his "best friend" at school. Every morning when we get there he looks for her back pack and when she is there he gets so excited and she runs out into the hall and gives him a big hug. They are really cute together!
