Writing

Matthew is finally starting to write his name, yea! I was a tad bit worried that he would be way behind when starting kindergarten this year since he does not have the patience to sit down and learn how to use a pencil, but he is really showing fast improvement! When I sent my dad his b'day card Matthew wrote his name by himself for the first time. Now that card is a keeper ;)
We are really proud of him!









Zachary is always one step behind Matthew and he is learning to write his name as well. Surprisingly he even remembers how to spell his name. The one problem that we are having though is that he writes from right to left instead of left to right. I'm sure that he'll get the hang of it! I do feel confident enough to announce though that Zachary is indeed a lefty. I thought that maybe he would change over to the right, but no such luck. Maybe he'll be a wonderful artist like my aunts and cousin, God knows that I have no ability in that department ;) I do find it very difficult though to cook with him or to help him with his writing or drawings b/c I am very right handed dominant as is Allan and Matthew. I am sure that he will get the hang of is though and will be the next Picasso ;)
