Pulvermaar

Ok sorry everyone that it has been so long since my last post. We have been extremely busy this month. Allan has been working late almost every night working on a project and I have been busy getting ready for my upcoming class that starts tomorrow. We are also getting ready for our big trip back to the states. We leave on Thursday (24th) and will be in Houston for 2 weeks and then in Wisconsin for 2 and we come back home on 21 June. Please pray for us, especially on the way there. We have a 10 hr. flight followed by a 6 hr. layover in Atlanta and then another 2 hr. flight plus our 7 hr. time change. Should make for an interesting trip!

Any who, here are some pictures from our last adventure. Running along side of our house we have the nordic fitness trail that takes us behind our house and up to the Pulvermaar which is about 2 miles away. It is an old volcano that has filled up with water since its last eruption hundreds of years ago. It is a major hot spot in the summer months with paddle boat rentals, parties, and swimming. There is a trail that takes you all around it as well. It is quite nice and of course we love getting outside and exploring!






Here are some pictures, and a video, from when Allan and I took the boys to a drive through wildlife park a few weeks ago. Allan and i were pretty disappointed, but the boys loved throwing food out the window to the animals.
